Patti Jarvis volunteers at the Middlebrook Library Station where she shelves books and helps out in many ways. She is a retired nurse and worked at Augusta Health for over forty years. Patti says she has always loved reading since she was a child. She recalls walking to the East Cleveland City Public library where she was able to check out about twenty books at a time. Although she enjoys all the libraries in the county, Middlebrook has become her main library since she retired. She says that reading is “what keeps me sane.” Patti and her husband, Jerry, have been married 46 years. They have seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren and enjoy them all. Patti is an active member of the community and does fund raising for the local Ruritans and fire department. Thank you Patti for all you do for the Middlebrook library and the community!
