The
Main Library in Fishersville has both wireless and broadband
Internet access. There are six public Internet stations,
one public Internet Express station, one public word processing
station, and three public game stations (only library-owned

all public access stations. Please see the Churchville,
Craigsville, and Deerfield
library web pages for computer services available at those
branches.
Patrons must present their library card or driver's license
to staff before using any of the six public Internet stations,
the word processing station, or the game station in the
main lobby. Patrons do not need to sign-up to use the Internet
Express station or the two game stations in the Children's
Department.
Time
limits: Thirty minutes for the Internet stations. Ten minutes
for the Internet Express station. Thirty minutes for the
game stations. One hour for the word processor.
Patrons
are welcome to use their own USB flash drives or 1.44 MB

Reference Desk for $1.00. None of the public stations are
equipped with Read/Write CD-ROM drives. The word processing
station is the only station equipped with a zip drive. The
library does not supply headphones to patrons--patrons may
bring in their own headphones to listen to audio formats
on the Internet.
Printing:
Printers are laser jet printers--color printing is not available.
Printing costs are 10 cents per page. Paper must be purchased
prior to printing.
Patrons
are not allowed to use instant messaging chat rooms on the
Internet stations. Patrons are not allowed to save files
or download files onto the hard drives. Only library-owned
software may be used on public stations. Failure to abide
by library policies may result in the loss of computer privileges.
