Large Display Case

While store bought house hold & farm goods were becoming common place in America during the late 19th & early 20th century.
The people of the 'back country' of Virginia & West Virginia were still crafting every day items from ready accessible materials. On exhibit is a small sampling of wares that illustrate the skills of the mountain folk of the Potomac Highlands. - Display done by Kent Botkin.
 

Small Display Case

This month we have lovely handiwork done by our Knit Together Group! Cozy and warm knitted items are on display by the entrance. The group meets here in Fishersville Thursday evenings between 6-8pm with Peggy Vreuls. All ages and skills are wholeheartedly welcome!
