Upcoming Teen & Tween Events at the Fishersville Library

Candy Cupcake Challenge – Wednesday, August 5 @ 1 pm. Show off your decorating skills in three challenging round. For grades 6 to 12. Register in advance in the Teen Zone. 



Ongoing Teen & Tween Programs at the Fishersville Library

  • tweens play Warhammer 40K, at table top fantasy gameTeen Advisory Board The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of teens grades 6 to 12 who are interested in becoming more involved with their library. TAB meets to advise on what items to order for the Young Adult (YA) collection, help create teen programs, and/or volunteer at various library events. TAB meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 5:00 pm. Come check it out!
  • Gaming:

          Warhammer 40K –  4th Saturday of every month @ 2:00 pm. Develop your strategy for planetary siege and combat in a dystopian science-fantasy universe. For grades 6 and up. All skill levels welcome!

         National Number Knockout – 2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month @ 4:00 pm. during the school year. Enjoy a fast-moving board game that improves the speed and accuracy of math calculations. Learn, have fun, and train for a national competition. For ages 9 to 14.
