VOLUNTEERING AT THE AUGUSTA COUNTY LIBRARY

Do you like reading?  Meeting new people? Giving back to the community?  If you said yes, you might be the person we need to help at the Augusta County Library in Fishersville, or stations and branches in Churchville, Craigsville, Deerfield and Middlebrook.  Our libraries  needs dedicated people who will shelve books, shelf read, cover books,  help with programs, do landscaping, assist with the book sale, and a variety of other jobs.  To start, fill out a volunteer application that is found on the website or available from the circulation desk.  You will be called for an interview and training will be provided.  The benefits of volunteering are many whether you are young and need to gain experience, or you are retired and want to share your expertise with others.   For more information, contact  Daza Craig.
