Apply online or stop by any Augusta County Library location. To complete your registration you’ll need to verify your current address with one of the following:

• Driver’s license
• Virginia ID
• Utility bill showing your current address

For children under 12: For children under 12, a parent or guardian must also obtain a library card and be listed as the responsible party on the child’s account. An Augusta County Library card gives children access to all materials and services in the system. If you would like to limit your child’s access to any library services, please let library staff know.

Out-of-state residents may obtain a temporary card and check out up to two items at a time.
